Mission
The Mission of the John G. Beatty Memorial Scholarship is to provide deserving students
the opportunity to thrive through a Catholic School education by embracing the ideals of community spirit, good sportsmanship, and academics with the utmost integrity, which shined through John as he grew and prospered during his years of study at Father Judge High School.
About John G. Beatty, Jr.
John G. Beatty, Jr. was an extremely proud graduate of Father Judge High School in 2001. He had a lifelong love for sports which he demonstrated throughout his time at Judge. John was very intelligent and did well in school. During John's time at Father Judge, he was diagnosed with Epilepsy, which is a neurological condition that affects the nervous system. He was highly dedicated to his family, friends, and especially to his neighborhood. One of the things our family respected the most abut John was his determination to live his life to the fullest.
The Scholarship
This scholarship is for a student-athlete who demonstrates the characteristics that our Father and Mother instilled in us at a very young age -- strong faith, education to hard work and commitment to family which will all lead you in the right direction.
