Did you know you can make a lasting gift to future Father Judge students that costs you nothing during your lifetime?
By leaving a planned gift under the stewardship of The Father Judge Vincentian Society, your current cash flow and financial planning are completely unchanged. Planned gifts don’t have to be in the form of cash — you can even make a gift of securities that grows with time. These special gifts are easy to arrange and confer significant tax advantages while providing you and your spouse with income, and protecting your assets intended for your heirs. The most important benefit of joining the Vincentian Society is the satisfaction derived from making a lasting contribution to the long-term prosperity of Father Judge High School. |

Charitable remainder trusts (CRTs) allow you to make a charitable gift now while providing payments to one or more people for life, or for a term of years. CRTs can be funded with any asset: cash, stock, real estate, or interest in a closely held business. They allow you to pass a business interest on to your children, to get out from real estate management, or gift an unwanted valuable all while providing payments to you.

You can place assets you intend to pass on to your children or grandchildren into a charitable lead trust. Our suggested minimum gift is $1,000,000.
The trust makes annual payments to Father Judge High School for a set time period. When the trust terminates, the remaining principal is paid to your heirs. These charitable income payments reduce the ultimate tax cost of transferring an asset to your heirs. The amount and term of the payments to Father Judge High School can be set to reduce or even eliminate transfer taxes due when the principal reverts to your heirs. All appreciation that takes place in the trust goes tax-free to the individuals named in your trust. |
